Qualifying Results and Assessment
Max Verstappen took another step forward towards establishing his dominance by taking the pole position for the British Grand Prix with his teammate, Sergio Perez's (who qualified 16th) abysmal form continuing to raise eyebrows and stir controversies of a driver change at Red Bull. The biggest surprise of the night came from the rejuvenated McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri who claimed the 2nd and 3rd spot respectively. The Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz would be starting at 4th and 5th respectively followed by the silver arrow of George Russell. Lewis Hamilton, who spun during his flying lap during Q1 starts 7th followed by the Williams of Alex Albon. Fernando Alonso, whose driving has been a revolution this season, will start from the 9th position with Alpine's Pierre Gasly occupying the 10th spot.
